CALL FOR PASTOR

 

The church is currently seeking a Senior Pastor. We are looking for candidates who are seminary trained, firmly established in the Word of God and who adhere to the doctrinal truths similar to those as stated in the “Baptist Faith and Message”.

 

We are also looking for candidates who have had experience in dealing with people of varied denominational / doctrinal background, particularly in issues such as spiritual gifts, modern forms of worship, and who have already taken a firm stand on such issues.

 

Candidates who have had experience in dealing with people of different nationalities and who are sensitive to what it takes to reach out to such a group will be an added asset.

 

Although we adhere that we are to be a body that is in agreement on the essentials, it has been our experience that it is the non-essentials that have caused grief and concern. It is our desire to have as Senior Pastor someone who could authoritatively, yet lovingly, indicate to the membership and all aspiring membership what our Church wishes to stand for. This has proven to be difficult given our varied denominational / doctrinal background.
